“Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don’t have that problem.”
~Ronald Reagan
Meet the Owner
Jeremy Bice is a former sergeant of the United States Marine Corps. He brings empathy from his experience non-profit worker, the principles of elite military leadership training, the advanced expertise of an MBA, and the skills learned through years of providing professional services.
Backstory
Jeremy started off by working two jobs during high school to fund two trips to underserved teenagers in Europe. He partnered with multiple organizations including the YMCA housing group and started a half-way house for recovering addicts. After returning to the United States, he worked for a year in a chain of group homes for teenagers in Northern California before enlisting in the USMC.
Military Experience & Training
After graduating boot camp, Jeremy went to the Defense Language Institute at the presidio of Monterey as a Thai Cryptologic linguist, receiving an AA in Thai culture. From there, he studied at Goodfellow Airforce base in Texas as a signals intelligence analyst. He completed the next 3 years of service at 3rd Radio Battalion at MCBH, where he was discharged honorably.
Jeremy went on to use his post 9/11 GI bill to study at Golden Gate University in San Francisco. There, he received his bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in marketing followed by a master’s degree in business administration. During the first two years of education, he took on marketing internships and small projects to apply the things he was learning.
Professional Career
While finishing grad school, Jeremy worked a full time job in digital advertising where he managed hundreds of small and medium businesses. He went on to help his employer by developing a business intelligence team and assisting in the development of the software engineering team. His work helped guide the organizational restructure of the business while it scaled from a couple hundred employees to more than 800 over the course of 3 years.
Next, Jeremy went on to join a consulting firm as a data analyst where he developed deeper skills in project management, business analysis, and expertise in designing systems. He worked on projects including state agencies, PE firms, and a hardware engineering firm among others. These projects largely involved migrating data from systems that couldn’t support the scalability needed by the firms involved, creating integrations for disparate systems, and application development to support data processing.
